Police busted 14 people in connection with drug trafficking at a Brooklyn public housing complex.

The New York City Police Departmnet says charges came following a nearly year-long investigation at the Farragut Houses in Vinegar Hill.

The department says more than 100 sales of crack cocaine and heroin were made to undercover officers during that time.

During a court-ordered sweep of the area Thursday, it says three guns were seized - one of which can be seen above - along with quantities of crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say 30-year-old James Suggs was among those charged. He's believed to be a main supplier of crack cocaine for local drug dealers.

Police also say Suggs tried to escape arrest by jumping out of a second-floor window, only to land in front of a housing authority police officer posted outside.
