ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Gates town supervisor Mark Assini could be preparing to make a third run for Congress.
In a tweet, Assini posted that he'll be making an announcement in regards to the 25th congressional district race next week, a position he has run for twice before, but lost both times to longtime incumbent, Democrat Louis Slaughter.
The announcement will be made next Wednesday evening at the Italian American Community Center on Frank DiMino Way.
Assini has served as the Gates town supervisor since 2010.
