Tonight on "Inside City Hall," NY1 Political Reporter Grace Rauh has a special investigative report on one of the mayor's top advisors, Jonathan Rosen, and the public relations firm he runs, BerlinRosen.

As Rauh explains, the relationship between Rosen and City Hall is a complicated one, full of potential pitfalls. In addition to advising the mayor and having helped elect the City Comptroller and 15 City Council members, Rosen also advises a host of clients with business before the city, including real estate developers, advocacy groups and labor unions. Government watchdog groups are sounding the alarm, saying it may be time for more disclosure requirements for public relations firms, like BerlinRosen. Rosen is not a registered lobbyist.

In her extended report, Rauh untangles  the complex web of influence Rosen and his firm have at City Hall. She focuses on how the firm dealt with a client that became too critical of the mayor and how Rosen has still kept a seat at the table with the mayor and his top aides, even while running his private company.

Her full report will be on “Inside City Hall” at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
