There are more than 400,000 New Yorkers living with Alzheimer's. Very little is known about its causes, there are few treatments that delay patients decline, and there is no cure. The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America has been working since 2002 to help victims and their loved ones cope. President and CEO Charles J. Fuschillo joins Cheryl to talk about their programs, which are designed to provide the earliest possible detection of the disease, the only hope of at least slowing down its effects.
