DURHAM -- Broadway's one-of-a-kind, high-heeled musical "Kinky Boots," is dancing its way into hearts across the country. The Grammy and Tony award-winning show featuring songs by the iconic Cyndi Lauper, features two stars with North Carolina ties. They're performing at the DPAC here in North Carolina.
Adam Kaplan, who plays Charlite Price, is an Elon graduate and plays his role with charm and ease. His co-star, J. Harrison Ghee, grew up in Fayetteville and gives the performance of a lifetime as the suave, incredibly talented and wildly fierce Lola.
