With the New York primary in just three days, the presidential hopefuls continue to campaign around the state looking to drum up support.

On the Republican side, John Kasich is stumping around our area today.

Earlier, Kasich addressed a congregation at a synagogue on Long Island.

The Ohio governor spoke about his faith and talked about his parents, who were killed by a drunk driver back in 1987.

Afterwards, Kasich spoke to reporters about his commitment to Israel.

"I'm not neutral when it comes to Israel," Kasich said. "I consider them to be one of the greatest allies,  the only democracy in the Middle East, under constant attack, both above the ground and beneath the the ground. People walking in, trying to kill Jews just because they happen to live in Israel."
