The city is making it easier to keep track of complaints against police officers.

The Civilian Complaint Review Board launched a new website that gives the public direct access to its data for the first time.

The move is part of the board's Data Transparency Initiative for access to information about complaints against officers for using excessive force, abuse of power, and offensive language.

Users can also download statistics about alleged victims and officers.
