ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester firefighters called in some extra help because of Tuesday night's heavy wind.

Crews say they found heavy flames in a building on Gregory Street shortly before 8:30 p.m.

More firefighters were called in because of the wind, but crews were able to quickly put the fire out.

Investigators say they believe it started in the Shanghai Grocery store on the bottom floor.

Officials say 11 adults and three kids escaped safely and are being helped by the Red Cross.
