Marathon Reading of Elie Weisel's "Night"
mjhnyc.org
I hope you'll join me Sunday for a marathon reading of Elie Weisel's landmark work "Night." Some of the incredible readers include Itzhak Perlman, Joel Grey, David Hyde Pierce, Tovah Feldshuh, Dr. Ruth and many more. They are gathering with others to read aloud and take a stand against hatred and prejudice.

"Elie Wiesel was a man who spent his lifetime dedicated to finding the good in humanity,” says Chris Massimine, executive producer at National Yiddish Theatre at Museum of Jewish Heritage. “It's a once in a lifetime event and our answer to a world full of intolerance, with a message of hope, love and understanding."

The reading runs from 3 – 8 p.m. But beginning at noon, there are several Holocaust survivors who will speak. The event helps mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day which is Friday. Admission Sunday is free.
