The NY Pops Summer Series
The New York Pops begins its new summer residency at Forrest Hills Stadium in Queens tonight with TV and Broadway star Sutton Foster. Tomorrow night the Pops welcome Pink Martini.

Cymbeline in Central Park
Shakespeare in the Park continues with Cymbeline. The public theater's free production is at the Delacourte Theater in Central Park through August 23. Check out their website for ticket details.
Photography Strictly Prohibited
The Morrison Hotel Gallery in SoHo is showcasing the work of David McClister in a new exhibit entitled, "Photography Strictly Prohibited: David McClister’s Americana." The exhibit is part of AmericanaFest NYC this weekend and is up through August 24.
If you already laced up your best pair to see the “The Rise of Sneaker Culture” exhibit at Brooklyn Museum, grab another favorite! Friday night the new documentary, SNEAKERHEADZ opens at the Village East Cinemas. It also explores the global phenomenon of serious sneaker love.

Yeah, we Like It Like That! Tonight, check out a super charged Boogaloo Celebration at Lincoln Center Out of Doors. It features boogaloo legend Joe performing and DJ Turmix spinning from his collection. It starts at 6 p.m.
You've Got Mail
And lastly, “You’ve Got Mail!” Park Slope’s Ground Floor Gallery is hosting an international mail art exhibition and artist fundraiser this summer through August 16. Definitely stop by to see the eclectic group of letters and maybe even bring something home. All of the artwork will eventually be sold for just $50 if you are looking to update your own private collection.

The Wes Anderson Art Show
The Wes Anderson Art Show is finally coming to NYC! Starting in San Fran in 2010, the pop-up show, titled “Bad Dads VI” is finally on its way to the Big Apple. From August 6-9, expect to see the hand-picked work of 70 artists who are all channeling the brilliance of the colorful filmmaker.
