A 10-year-old was rescued by a straphanger Tuesday after he fell onto the tracks at a Brooklyn subway station.

The boy was heading to school when he apparently slipped on the platform at the Van Siclen 3 train station in East New York.

The boy's father said a straphanger quickly helped him back up before a train arrived.

"He's home now. He's doing good. He's doing OK," said the boy's father, who did not want to appear on camera. "We went to get a chest x-ray to make sure he was OK because of the way he fell down. But he's good, he's good. God bless, he's good."

The father said he doesn't know who helped his son but wants to send out his sincere thanks.
