N, Q and R service is back to normal after a water main break in the Flatiron district disrupted service.
A nearly 100-year-old pipe broke at 25th Street and Broadway at around 10:45 a.m. Friday.
The MTA said 750 gallons of water per minute flowed into the station at 23rd Street.
Many residents south of the break lost water pressure and heat, but the New York City Department of Environmental Protection believes the system is back to normal.
Residents who see brown water need to run tap water for a bit until the water runs clear, according to the DEP.
If residents still have a problem, they should call 311.
