Commuters may want to avoid the Midtown Tunnel this weekend, as one tube is closed as crews work to repair electrical damage left behind by Hurricane Sandy.

The Queens-bound tube is closed, and two way traffic is running in the Manhattan bound tube.

Delays are expected.

Commuters are advised to use the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge or Hugh Carey-Brooklyn Battery Tunnel instead.

The tube will reopen Monday at 5 a.m.

The tunnel was flooded during the hurricane, damaging much of the electrical system.
