The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said subway riders should expect delays after the back of an A train derailed on the Upper West Side Saturday.

The A and D lines are running local from the 125th Street Station to the 59th Street-Columbus Circle Station in both directions.

The MTA said the last car of an express A train headed downtown went off the tracks at 81st Street and the Museum of Natural History station.

Fire officials said no one was hurt and passengers were transferred to another train.

The MTA is on site working to get the car back on the tracks.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
