A construction project could soon disrupt your commute in Queens.

As of Jan. 7, the Third Avenue exit right before the Bronx Whitestone Bridge will be closed, and will remain that way for two years.

It's part of a $109 million project aimed at improving the approach to the bridge.

The change will impact motorists on both the Cross Island Parkway and the Whitestone Expressway.

Signs will be in place and traffic agents will be on hand when detours begin.
