Some members of the City Council are pushing for the installation of "Bus Clocks" at bus stops across the city.
They would allow riders to know when the next bus will arrive.
Several Council members have introduced the resolution.
Brooklyn Councilman Brad Lander says the information should be available to everyone, not just those who own a smart phone.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says riders are already using it's "Bus Time" web and mobile service to check bus schedules.
The agency plans to expand the service citywide by the end of next year.
