Friends of the suspect accused of pushing another man off a subway platform to his death are coming to his defense.

Investigators say 30-year-old Naeem Davis got into an argument with 58-year-old Ki-Suck Han before the incident happened.

Han fell onto the tracks and was hit by an oncoming Q train at the 49th Street station, killing him.

Police say video shows Davis screaming profanities at Han moments before allegedly shoving him to his death.

Davis claims Han harassed and threatened him before the argument.

His friends say the video does not show the real Naeem Davis, whom they describe as a peaceful man.

"Out of the six years I know him, he never had a fight. He never had a fight," said "Caesar", a friend of Davis. "All the time that we hung out and everything, no."

"The Naeem that I know, I'm sure he had to cry 'stop' a couple times before he had to get to the level where he even used any profanity," said "Mohammed", a friend of Davis.

Davis is charged with second-degree murder.
