The Hugh Carey Brooklyn Battery tunnel will be partially closed this weekend.
One tube will be shut down this Saturday and Sunday between 3 a.m. and 1 p.m. for more post-Sandy repairs.
One tube will remain open for incoming and outgoing traffic, but delays are expected, so drivers should try to use an alternate route.
The storm flooded the tunnel floor to ceiling. Water damaged its electrical and lighting systems, along with its communications, surveillance and ventilation systems.
