The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has resumed its Fastrack repairs program, and this week the A, C and E subway lines in Manhattan are affected.
The Eighth Avenue lines will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday through Thursday, so that crews can inspect, repair, clean and paint the tunnels.
MTA officials say Fastrack allows workers to accomplish in just four nights what would normally take months.
During the clean-up efforts, A trains will run via the D and F lines.
E trains will also run on the F line.
