For the first time, the MTA is now selling MetroCards with advertisements on the front.

The agency is selling 125,000 MetroCards printed with an ad for The Gap instead of the traditional yellow and blue MetroCard logo.

The cards will only be sold at 10 stations near The Gap's new flagship store at 34th Street and Broadway.

The MTA has sold ads on the back of MetroCards since 1995 but sees ads on the front as a bigger money maker.
