A Bronx mother is charged with murdering her two young children.
Elementary school teacher Lisette Bamenga was found with lacerations to her wrists on Thursday in an apparent suicide attempt.
Police responding to a gas leak at a building on Noble Avenue in Parkchester Thursday night found four-month-old Lillian Noel and five-year-old Trevor Noel Jr. unconscious inside their apartment.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The stove was apparently left on and a sheet was placed over the door.
Sources told NY1 the children were forced to drink toxic de-icing fluid.
Bamenga teaches at P.S. 58 in Brooklyn.
