Several local schools are reopening Monday after closing due to a high number of flu-related absences.

They include Special Education School 811Q, located in Building 822Q in Saint Albans, along with P.S. 68 in Wakefield, P.S. 128 in Washington Heights, 231 K in Bensonhurst, 369K in Boerum Hill and Masores Bais Yaakov and Yeshiva Shaarei Torah in Brooklyn.

There have been no confirmed H1N1 cases at any of those schools.

Health officials stressed the schools closed as a precaution because of a high number of students with flu-like symptoms.

Meanwhile, P.S.1 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn was closed after 30 students came down with flu-like sickness Thursday and Friday.

The school is scheduled to reopen on Friday, June 5 with staff returning on Thursday, June 4.
