The jury in the trial of a Staten Island woman accused of killing her fire marshal husband will resume deliberations on Wednesday.

The jurors in Janet Mercereau's murder trial have been sequestered since Monday night. On Tuesday, they asked for the charges to be read back to them and asked eight questions about previously seen evidence and heard testimony.

A judge on Monday ruled the jury will be allowed to see surveillance photos from K-Mart taken of Mercereau the night before her husband's death.

The defense said the footage shows Mercereau had a mark on her hand prior to the shooting and so the mark could not be a burn from firing a gun.

She is accused of shooting her husband Douglas in December 2007, while he slept in their Oakwood home.

Investigators say he was killed with his own gun.

Mercereau has maintained she had nothing to do with the killing and did not even hear any gunshots because she was sleeping with earplugs.
