Woman Testifies In Her Former Kidnapper's Murder Trial

The murder trial of former Manhattan bouncer Darryl Littlejohn featured testimony Monday from the woman he kidnapped in 2005.
Shanai Woodard, 23, was a 19-year-old York College student when Littlejohn posed as a law enforcement officer and forced her into the back of his van in South Jamaica, Queens.
Woodard testified in Littlejohn's current trail over the February 2006 rape and murder of John Jay College student Imette St. Guillen.
Woodard described how Littlejohn had tied her up in a van and drive her off during the attempted kidnapping. She then recognized Littlejohn's van in TV news coverage of St. Guillen's murder.
According to the Queens district attorney, police found Woodard's DNA in Littlejohn's van and Littlejohn's DNA was found on handcuffs worn by Woodard.
Littlejohn was convicted of the second-degree kidnapping and assault of Woodard and criminal impersonation in October. He sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
