Police on Staten Island have arrested a teen in connection with a string of robberies at a high school.
The district attorney's office says Joseph Mason, 18, was arrested last night. He is charged with multiple counts of robbery, attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with a string of robberies at Monsignor Farrell High School last week.
According to police, seven students were mugged at the parochial school in Oakwood Heights after being stopped individually by a man in a car.
A senior at the school says the man asked to use his cell phone and then refused to return it. He was also robbed of his money.
