The country's biggest Fourth of July fireworks display is moving back to the Hudson River.

Macy's, who sponsors the massive display, says the move celebrates the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's voyage on the river.

The fireworks had been launched off barges in the East River since 2001.

This year's theme is "American River" and will feature 40,000 fireworks which will be shot off six barges positioned between 24th and 50th Streets on the Hudson.
