Caribbean leaders in Brooklyn are throwing their support behind Mayor Michael Bloomberg as he seeks a third term in office.

Bloomberg received the endorsement during an appearance in Crown Heights Sunday.

Caribbean supporters credit the mayor with helping business owners receive grants, as well as improving healthcare and decreasing crime in their community.

Bloomberg says it has been a team effort.

"The work of the Caribbean community leaders and ministers, really has been a very big part of that success. But let me tell you, we are not done. We still have a lot of hard work ahead to keep all five boroughs moving forward in these tough times," said Bloomberg.

This is the mayor's third endorsement from Caribbean leaders.
