A Queens man has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident after fatally hitting a 43-year-old man in Woodhaven Saturday night.
Police say Gus Pappaeliou, 27, hit Youyun Zhou's scooter with his car last night at the intersection of 80th Street and Jamaica Avenue.
Zhou, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Pappaeliou fled the scene but was arrested a few blocks away.
