SEC: Recovered Madoff Assets To Go To Investors

The Securities and Exchange Commission said Wednesday that any money recovered from the sale of
admitted financial swindler Bernard Madoff's assets will go to his investors instead of the government.
The SEC says some investors wanted to force the disgraced financier into bankruptcy court to recover assets.
But the commission says that would create unnecessary confusion and cause costly and potentially wasteful litigation.
