Ringling Brothers Circus Holds Clown Auditions

Auditions were held in Madison Square Garden on Monday for clown hopefuls looking be trained at The World Famous Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clown Alley.
Those selected from the audition will perform in next year's circus.
And many say that would be a dream come true.
"I grew up in Japan and I saw 'The Greatest Show on Earth' and ever since I have wanted to be a clown with 'The Greatest Show on Earth,'" said clown hopeful Summer Shiratori.
"I think a lot of people today who are looking for options. And that's what we're looking for," said Ringling Brothers talent manager David Kiser. "We're not looking for someone who has been in it their whole life, we're looking for someone who has the desire who had the heart and who wants to become a clown."
Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus is in town performing at Madison Square Garden until next Monday.
