One Killed, Several Injured In Brooklyn Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle accident in Brooklyn last night has left one person dead, and several others injured.
Police say the motorcycle was traveling east on Pitkin Avenue in East New York around 10 p.m. yesterday, when it collided with a Dodge Intrepid at the intersection of Barbey Street.
The Dodge then crashed into a lamppost.
The man on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. Sources tell NY1 he was an off-duty police officer.
The other driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital with head, back and leg injuries.
