Hundreds of New Yorkers marched on Wall Street in the rain Friday to demand that the federal government bail out the people instead of banks and corporations.

Protestors from more than 50 groups gathered to denounce the billions of dollars in bailout money dolled out to big businesses.

The group marched along Broadway, past the headquarters of insurance giant American International Group and several banks that received federal money.

Marchers say they want to make sure their voices are heard:

"To see what's on TV and not participate and change things, just feels irresponsible," said a protester.

"This is our tax money for our jobs, our housing, our schools and I don't think the bonuses should be given to the people who are just getting richer off of them while the poor aren't getting any jobs," said another.

Four people were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Organizers are planning a second protest Saturday.
