Employees from two Staten Island ShopRites will be featured on limited-edition Cheerios boxes after winning a nationwide contest.
The employees from the Graniteville and New Dorp stores are being honored for their participation in a contest to help raise money to fight hunger.
The boxes, celebrating the 10th year of the fundraiser, were unveiled Monday and include the photos of the employees along with other standout employees from across the country.
"We take great pride, this is the 10th year that we have been doing it, and it is a great honor, and it's just a shame that we have to do it every year."
The two Staten Island ShopRites were among 30 stores nationwide featured by Cheerios.
