According to a survey by the New York Daily News, only two of the 51 City Council members had a 100 percent attendance record last year.
The two with perfect attendance were Council Speaker Christine Quinn and Councilman Tony Avella, a mayoral candidate.
Democratic Councilwoman Maria Baez from the Bronx had the worst attendance record, missing 89 of her hearings and sessions, adding up to a 47 percent attendance rate.
Thirteen members had attendance records below 75 percent, while 22 percent attended at least 90 percent of their sessions.
