The green arrived a little early in the Bronx yesterday, for the 11th annual Throgs Neck St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The festivities followed morning Mass at Saint Benedict's Church.

The march made it way down East Tremont Avenue from Lafayette to Harding Avenues – delighting the crowds along the way.

"I thought it was awesome," said one reveler. "I come every year. It's a good time. You see a lot of people you haven't seen in a while."

The world's oldest and largest St. Patrick's Day parade is tomorrow in Manhattan. The 248th annual march kicks off at 11 o'clock in the morning.

It starts at 44th Street and Fifth Avenue, and makes its way all the way up to 86th Street.
