The city's second Water Taxi Beach will open Memorial Day Weekend on Governor's Island.
Visitors can take the ferry from the Battery Maritime Building in Lower Manhattan, and spend a day on the beach. Attractions will include volleyball, a café and outdoor grill, basketball courts, and a stage for live performances.
The Water Taxi Beach in Long Island City has become a popular summer hangout. It will reopen Memorial Day weekend.
