A teenager who fell eight stories off a Brooklyn building Tuesday had his hands covered in duct tape, according to police.

Officials say the incident happened shortly before 9 a.m. at 1306 Loring Avenue in East New York.

Sources say there was also duct tape on the teen's face, and that duct tape was also found on the roof.

The teenager is being treated at Brookdale Hospital.

Witnesses say the teen is visiting from Pennsylvania.

"This is really sad, a 17-year-old boy being thrown off a roof from Pennsylvania. This is already a rough area and this just doesn't help," said building resident Frankie Mack.

It is not known at this time why the teen was on the roof or what led to the fall.
