The Department of Education's newest schools are featured in a showcase this weekend.

The annual New High School Information Fair is being held all weekend in Prospect Park, Brooklyn to give students and parents a sneak peak at the schools slated to open in September.

Some of the new schools on display Saturday have specific focuses, like cinema, finance and science.

"I really find it interesting and I hope that I get into one of these good public schools," said one student. "Because I know it'll help me later in life when I'm in college and I can look back and say 'Wow, coming to this fair was a really good opportunity.'"

"Now I decided, I'm going to change my application so I'll apply to some very interesting new schools that I really like and would love to go to," said another.

The fair will be open again on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clara Barton High School in Brooklyn.
