A St. John's University student was reunited with her family today, more than two weeks after she was declared missing.
Erica Desai, 19, left the 107th Precinct station house this morning. She called police late last night after seeing herself on television.
Desai disappeared from the school's Queens campus more than two weeks ago after being dropped off by her cousin. She was originally thought to have been abducted.
However, police say she was embarrassed about being expelled from school, and ran away.
They also say she's been riding the trains for days.
Police had released surveillance photos from a Bank of America in Manhattan showing a woman and a man using Desai's debit card. Police now say the woman is Desai, and a man she knows.
No criminal charges have been filed.
