A three-alarm fire at Mount Sinai hospital Wednesday night injured six firefighters as they tried to bring flames under control.
Fire officials said it started in the mechanical room on the second floor.
Patients were moved from one side of the hospital to the other.
But the hospital says patients have been moved back to the evacuated floors.
No patient injuries have been reported, but investigators say six firefighters have minor injuries.
It is still unknown what caused the fire.
