Port Authority police arrested a toll violator Friday who racked up more than $1,000 in fees.
The agency says two officers pulled over a tractor trailer without a visible front license plate at the George Washington Bridge Toll Plaza Friday morning.
They found the driver, Allan Flores, 50, was using a wire to lift the plate out of view of the E-ZPass cameras used to photograph violators. The rear license plate was also covered up with grease.
Port Authority officials say Flores also owes more than $1,000 on three different E-ZPass accounts.
Flores was arrested on charges of theft of services and deceptive business practices.
