Assemblyman Richard Brodsky criticized the Yankees Wednesday, alleging the ball club has asked for another $431 million in tax-exempt bonds to finish construction on their new stadium.

That's on top of the $1.5 billion the Yankees and Mets received three years ago.

Brodsky said most of the money would go to pay for TV's, an audio/visual system, concessions and administrative offices.

"The city is trying to shove another $400 million in taxpayer dollars on the Yankees at a time when we can't afford schools and to fund the MTA. It's bizarre and it's wrong," said Brodsky.

"Assemblyman Brodsky is criticizing everything, I do not have enough time to answer all of Brodsky's complaints," said Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The city's Economic Development Corporation called these claims "wildly inaccurate."

The Yankees dismissed Brodsky's claims as inaccurate, saying the project is actually helping the city with a new revenue profit of almost $60 million.

A public hearing is set for January 15, with a vote scheduled the next day.

Brodsky said his requests to delay the vote have been denied.
