The 82nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade made its annual trek downtown to 34th Street.
Millions lined the parade route Thursday to get a look at the balloons, star-studded floats, and marching bands.
This year's parade featured old favorites like Kermit the Frog and the Energizer Bunny, and some new additions – Buzz Lightyear, Horton of Dr. Seuss fame, and a giant blue Smurf.
Everyone said they had a great time.
"It's amazing," said one parade-goer. "We will be here every year in the future. It's the best experience ever."
"Everybody is in a good mood, everybody is ready for the holidays," said another.
"We love it, love it," said a third. "I watch it on television every year. This is my first year in person; we're loving it."
"It's just wonderful. I can't explain it, it's just so great," said yet another parade-goer. "
In all, there were 13 giant balloons and 31 smaller balloons in this year's parade.
Additionally, there were 10 marching bands, 900 clown, 28 floats, and over 1,7000 singers, dancers, and performers.
