Disgraced former Governor Elliot Spitzer gave advice on the financial crisis to the president-elect in a guest editorial today.

His advice for Barack Obama for fixing the economy is featured in today's Washington Post.

The man once known as the “Sheriff of Wall Street” says more government regulation and enforcement are the keys to repairing economic damage.

The one-time attorney general also takes credit for spotting the crisis long in advance.

Spitzer admits that his involvement in a prostitution scandal will make advising the future president difficult, writing, "Mistakes I made in my private life now prevent me from participating in these issues as I have in the past."
