FDNY Mourns Bronx Firefighter-In-Training

The Fire Department is mourning the loss of a probationary firefighter from the Bronx who died Tuesday, one day after collapsing during a training exercise.
Jamel Sears, 33, collapsed Monday morning after completing a grueling 18-minute training exercise on Randall's Island.
He was taken to Mount Sinai but never regained consciousness. He died Tuesday.
Sears, a four-year Navy veteran, joined the FDNY in July.
The Bronx native is survived by his wife and two children.
