Woman Charged In Fatal Queens Crash

A woman was charged in connection with a fatal car crash in Kew Gardens Hills early Wednesday morning.
Police said a white Infiniti hit a gray Chevy Blazer at the intersection of 77th Road and 150th Street around 1 a.m.
The impact sent the Blazer crashing through a fence, and onto a front lawn. The driver of the Blazer, a 59-year-old Robert Behar, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver of the Infiniti, a 26-year-old Denise Rivera, was taken into custody when she appeared to be driving under the influence.
Rivera was charged with driving while intoxicated, vehicular manslaughter, and vehicular assault.
