He's stuffed his body with more burgers, hot dogs and chicken wings than a person really should, so in honor of Columbus Day, eating champion Joey Chestnut took on pizza.
The reigning Coney Island hot dog eating champion scarfed down 45 slices in 10 minutes Sunday to win the inaugural Famous Famiglia World Pizza Eating Championship in Times Square.
The 24-year-old, pictured in the center above, said he fasted for a day before the event, before stuffing enough cheese, dough and sauce to feed a little league team.
Chestnut defended his July Fourth Hot Dog Eating crown this summer.
He also ate 93 hamburgers in eight minutes last month in Tennessee.
