Hundreds of city police will undergo on Monday a special refresher course on how to deal with emotionally-disturbed people.

All 440 members of the Emergency Services Unit will take the refresher course at Brooklyn's Floyd Bennett Field.

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly ordered the course after this week's tasering incident involving a distraught man.

Police found Brooklyn resident Iman Morales standing naked on a second-story awning Wednesday. Lieutenant Michael Pigott ordered Officer Nicholas Marchesona to use the taser on Morales.

However, Morales then fell, hit his head on the sidewalk and later died.

The NYPD said Pigott and Marchesona violated department guidelines, which bar the use of tasers in situations where a person may fall from an elevated surface.

Pigott was stripped of his gun and badge, while Marchesona was assigned to desk duty.
