The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has fined three construction firms more than $300,000 for safety violations that led to the deadly crane collapse in March.
OSHA fined Rapetti Rigging $220,000 for failing to inspect a $40 nylon sling that was torn and gave way – leading to the collapse.
