Alternate-side parking rules are back in effect in Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, and Gowanus, after being suspended for nearly two months.

Crews have installed thousands of signs reflecting new street cleaning regulations and starting today, traffic agents will begin enforcing the new rules.

Regulations have been changed in many areas so that spots only need to be cleared for 90 minutes once a week, as opposed to three hours, twice a week.

In addition, more cleaning is scheduled for main commercial streets

Restrictions remain suspended in the area west of Court Street.
